Family and friends
Gather near the tree of lights
One day of the year.
A Photorecord of Christmas 2004
Another year gone, another Christmas down. Let's see what
wonderful surprises the three-day holiday presented us with this year. :) |

As usual, as the family member with the
most experience with digital photography, I was in charge of the grand event of
"family photos."
Let's call this one a test picture. |
Oh, there we go.
Dark, I know. I'll have to adjust the camera settings next time. |
Better have one with just the actual family itself. |
And now one of mom and dad. |
And one with just the kids. Way to dress up, Jeff. |
Okay, photos done. Mom unwraps first. It's a
rule. |
Linde and Mark (her boyfriend) and the Christmas tree. |
Look at all the presents.
And my tripod in the foreground. Oops. |
Next morning. (I know, I didn't take very many
photos of Christmas Eve.) This is a view along the road to my parents' house.
They're building an overpass over a nearby railway crossing. That's a really, really
big pile of dirt to the right. |

The road to my parents' house.
There used to be a row of choke cherry bushes along there, but the
county tore them out. :P |
The cars lined up at my grandmother's house. |
Lots of people. I even know a couple of them.
Of course, the very first thing anyone said to me was
"It's about time!" Gah, people, it's Christmas. Be nice. |
Another family picture (plus Shandra). She doesn't
know it yet, but we're charging her 25 cents for every picture she's in. It's a
family custom. Really. |
More assorted people who may or may not share a portion
of my genetic sequence. |
Hey, let's see if Deanne can orchestrate 15 grandkids at
once! |
Not too bad. Except we're all squinting because
it's too bloody early. See, if we had this later in the day, we wouldn't have this
trouble . . . |
Tabby/Haley/Dana. |
Far, far too many presents. |
On to Page Two . . .
