My father's general contracting business finally got its day in the limelight.

I have a lot of respect for my father and his work (not quite enough to want to carry
on the family business, but enough to know that he can do pretty much anything he sets his
mind to). I paid for a vehicle and most of my college degree by working summers and
holidays for him and it was a good experience for me (my father would say it was a good
"character-building" experience at times). My brother must like sunlight
and diesel fuel a little more than I do, because he worked summers and holidays like I did
and then gravitated back to the company after his vo-tech school (he was grumpy with me
because I put "Foreman" on the business cards I gave him for his birthday -
"I'm the Vice-President.").
