| Despite my feelings on religion, I thought this was an
appropriate title (I'll probably be preachy and long-winded and a majority of the planet
will think I've got the details wrong). I've had several people (well, okay, two) ask me
why I wanted to add this section, and I think the first entry is a good place to address
that. I'm under no illusion that thousands of people will read it and nod in
agreement. I suppose I'm doing it more because I can (I still have some Web space I
haven't used up) and because sometimes things just strike me as worth writing about.
A lot of the time those things are things that have annoyed me, so expect a few
rants, but some of them will be commentary on human nature. A few of
them might even be funny (or sarcastic, knowing me). Expect also a variety of
comments that may not make sense (unless you're "in" on the joke or you're one
of the great washed masses who shares my interests). See, there's a prime example of
the purpose of this journal. "Washed masses." Everyone talks about
the "unwashed masses," but does
anyone ever mention the washed masses? Nooooooo.
Don't expect this to be updated regularly. I certainly don't. If I don't
have anything worth saying I'm not going to take up my space and your time treading
water. If you'd like to be notified when I post a new one, let me know. |
